BUMC is preparing for the BUMC Foster Closet, which will be a resource to foster parents and foster children in Montgomery County. This closet will provide clothing, books, toys, school supplies, accessories, and baby supplies for foster families (see list below).
ITEMS NEEDED (please donate only items that are in excellent condition that you would want to receive for your family):
· New or gently worn clothes, for children of all ages (babies to late teens). We also welcome Halloween costumes and prom dresses. For used items, please consider dry-cleaning or heating in your dryer for 60 minutes prior to donating.
· Baby supplies (diapers, high chairs, booster seats, baby carriers, lightly used cribs (no mattresses), new pack-and-plays)
· Books
· New toys, new stuffed animals
· Accessories and toiletries (hair care, lotion, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, etc.)
· Blankets
· School supplies (backpacks, notebooks, pens and pencils, binders, etc.)
